The first Natural Healing Centre was started by Dr Nerida James in the small country town of Gembrook, 80 kms from Melbourne in the Dandenong Ranges back in 1981. Soon after, she opened a larger clinic in the nearby town of Emerald. [The Emerald practice has now relocated to Ferny Creek].

The clinic at Ferny Creek caters for people living in the Dandenongs. It is located about a 10 minute drive from the Ferntree Gully township. We’ve included directions and a map on our Clinics page.
Your first visit
Our practitioners typically start with a comprehensive diagnosis of your health. From this, they work out an individualised treatment program with you. This may include massage, herbal and nutitional supplements, changes in your diet, work on your muscles or spine, cleansing and detoxification.
The approach is wholistic with the emphasis on helping you to achieve and maintain good health.
